Owning Neural Earth's weather and atmospheric analytics function, the full-time remote Geospatial Data Scientist will design and deploy numerical weather prediction models, build atmospheric analytics capabilities, and translate complex scientific findings into actionable intelligence products for various stakeholders. Key responsibilities Design and deploy Python-based numerical weather prediction and geospatial models to quantify atmospheric hazards Architect and build the atmospheric analytics capability, including data pipelines and scientific frameworks Convert multi-hazard scientific findings into business-ready products for insurance and government sectors Required qualifications Master's or PhD in Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Geospatial Science, Data Science, or a related field 3-6 years of experience with atmospheric, weather, or geospatial data in a research or applied setting Proficiency in Python and experience building production-grade geospatial models using relevant libraries Experience applying machine learning to atmospheric or climate problems using frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow Demonstrated ability to build and lead a scientific capability in a relevant field
