Managing the day-to-day operations of the Prior Authorization team, the full-time Georgia Licensed Prior Authorization Pharmacist will ensure timely and accurate review of authorizations, assist in overseeing technicians, and serve as a clinical resource, all while working remotely. Key responsibilities Manage daily work queues within the prior authorization system PAHub Review and approve or deny pharmaceutical coverage based on guideline-based criteria Communicate process improvements and participate in assigned projects and meetings Required qualifications Georgia Pharmacist license in good standing BS Pharm or PharmD degree required Managed care experience required Prior authorization review experience required Continuing education requirements must be maintained
