To ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, the full-time Georgia Licensed Coding Specialist will be responsible for coding procedures, entering charges, and coordinating with the Practice Coordinator and Revenue Integrity while working remotely from Georgia. Key responsibilities Code procedures and enter charges in accordance with regulations and internal policies Coordinate with Practice Coordinator and Revenue Integrity to ensure proper documentation for selected procedure codes Participate in audits to evaluate coding accuracy and develop methodologies for improvement Required qualifications Coding credential (RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCS, RN) is required Minimum of 2 years of hospital and/or physician practice coding experience or completion of a one-year Revenue Integrity Internship Program Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively with various personnel Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
