To enhance the quality of cardiovascular care, the full-time Georgia Licensed Clinical Charge Auditor will provide clinical documentation improvement, auditing, coding, and charge entry for cardiac procedures, ensuring compliance and accuracy in billing practices. Key responsibilities Conduct medical record reviews to ensure accurate documentation, coding, and billing practices for cardiovascular procedures Educate physicians and clinical staff on coding changes to support accurate reimbursement for procedures performed in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs Collaborate with various departments to build charge codes for new procedures and maintain compliance with coding regulatory standards Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED Georgia Licensed Clinical Charge Auditor certification required upon hire Minimum of 3 years of acute care coding or billing experience At least 5 years of clinical interventional cardiovascular or surgical experience Proficiency in computer/data entry and software such as Excel and Word
