Your contributions can help clients improve financial performance, accelerate new digital ventures, and fuel growth through innovation.Work you'll do As an AI and Data Science Engineer III on the team, you will be responsible for:Design, build, test, and deploy machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions for business and client use casesDevelop and maintain data pipelines, model training workflows, and production-grade application components that support AI-enabled productsAnalyze structured and unstructured data to identify patterns, generate insights, and support model development and validationCollaborate with engineers, data scientists, product stakeholders, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutionsMonitor model and application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve accuracy, reliability, and scalabilityA successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to othersQualifications Required:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field5+ years of professional experience3+ years of experience designing, developing, or deploying machine learning, artificial intelligence, or advanced analytics solutions3+ years of experience programming in Python, Pyspark, Pytorch, Tensorflow3+ years of experience developing algorithms, model selection, training/validation/optimization, and evaluation at scale1+ years of technology consulting experience in the Federal Health space1+ years of experience working with AI technologies such as Gemini, Anthropic, OpenAIActive Certification/Advanced certification in Python, Pyspark, Pytorch, TensorflowAbility to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveAbility to obtain and maintain a US government security clearanceMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futurePreferred:Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative fieldActive US Government security clearance2+ years of experience deploying machine learning models into production environments2+ years of experience working with large language models, natural language processing, or generative artificial intelligence solutions2+ years of experience using containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes1+ years of experience supporting model monitoring, model governance, or machine learning operations processesThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $131,000 to $218,300.
