General Utility Associate / Packer/Offloader (3rd Shift)

Job Description:

• The General Utility Associate helps the facility in several ways.
• They work with production to ensure production lines have materials, completes paperwork, maintain housekeeping, and can assist with quality checks so the team operates smoothly and safely.
• This position also helps ensure shipments are staged, loaded, and labeled correctly to ensure that the correct product goes out on time every shift.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with plant staff to provide a safe work environment.
• Responsible for starting and operating mixer/production line.
• Empty production line into pallets for WIP or finished goods.
• Keep count of inventory produced during shift.
• Helps keep track of actual downtime and cause.
• Ensures proper packaging materials are used for product type.
• Responsible for building pallets to keep up with product output.
• Unload/load trucks and stage products into correct location.
• Periodically inspect for quality issues. May be done visually or with tools.
• Keep the work area clean using 6S process.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• General work experience in manufacturing or similar preferred.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
