General Urologist

Northwell Health is expanding its urological health services and seeking General Urologists to join their team across various locations in New York. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, integrated healthcare within a large health system known for its expertise in minimally invasive procedures. The successful candidate will collaborate with an experienced medical staff and contribute to advancing urologic care.

Practice Info

• Locations include Mather, Peconic Bay, Plainview, Staten Island, Valley Stream, and Queens (Chinese speaking preferred).
• The Arthur Smith Institute for Urology has seen tremendous growth over the past five years.
• Physicians have vast experience in minimally invasive procedures to treat all urologic diseases.
• The department holds weekly conferences to keep staff updated on the latest treatments and technologies.
• The department has residencies and an extensive network of physician extenders.
• Physicians are also faculty of the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.

Requirements

• MD Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine.
• Completion of Residency with Board Certification or eligibility.
• Current / Eligible for NYS License.
• Outstanding communication and management skills and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and hospital management.
• Must possess recent experience in generally accepted and currently used methods and techniques.
