General Surgery Physician

Location: Moultrie, Georgia | Schedule: Full-time, on-site | Compensation: Competitive salary with annual 3% cost-of-living adjustment plus 100% share of practice profits

Overview

An established orthopedic practice is seeking a General Surgery Physician specializing in Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgery to join a team of three board-certified orthopedic physicians, supported by mid-level providers. Based in Moultrie, Georgia—about 35 miles from Albany, GA, and 60 miles from Tallahassee, FL—this role offers the chance to build a surgical career within a well-supported, community-oriented practice.

What you'll do

• Provide orthopedic foot and ankle surgical care, splitting time evenly between clinic and operating room duties
• Work Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
• Participate in on-call rotation required 7 days per month, with additional compensation for extra call days
• Mentor and precept medical students and residents, with additional benefits available for participation

Required qualifications

• Completion or near completion of an orthopedic residency and a foot and ankle fellowship
• Board certification or eligibility, with a requirement to obtain certification within five years if not yet certified
• Possession of a Georgia Medical License or eligibility to participate in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
