As a General Surgery Advanced Practice Provider, you will join CHI Health Clinic at St. Francis Medical Center, specializing in all aspects of bread‑and‑butter surgery within clinic, operating room and hospital rounding. Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well‑being of children and their families within CHI Health Clinic. To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board‑certified, and compassionate provider, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with others, and demonstrate a deep commitment to patient‑centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

Required
- Graduate of an accredited advanced practice training program (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
- Meet board eligibility or certification requirements
- Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and health‑care professionals
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high‑quality, compassionate care to children and families
Work Location
CHI Health St. Francis is a 150‑bed Level III Trauma Center and regional referral hub serving Central Nebraska. It offers a 16‑bed open ICU with after‑hours eICU support, a well‑established hospitalist and intensivist program, and a wide range of engaged subspecialists—creating an excellent environment for collaborative, high‑quality perioperative care. The facility has Magnet with Distinction nursing, a newly renovated Emergency Department, OR expansion in 2021, and an Outpatient Family Health Center clinic opened in 2026. Pay Range
$136,933 - $158,089 / year
