Responsibilities
- Provide general surgery call coverage on 24-hour shifts across inpatient and emergency room settings
- Perform general surgery procedures
- Maintain continuous availability for both scheduled and emergent surgical needs throughout each assigned call period
Shift & Schedule
- Dates needed: Oct 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31 - Ongoing
- 24-Hour call
- Call required: Yes
- 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)
- 30 shifts required per month
Requirements
- Board certification in General Surgery is negotiable
- Active state license required
- Active state DEA required
- Prescriptive authority required
