General Surgeon - Surgicalist

AdventHealth is seeking an experienced General Surgeon for a Surgicalist role at AdventHealth Tampa, a 626-bed flagship hospital and tertiary care center in the West Florida Division. This position involves providing surgical care while engaging in teaching and research through the general surgery residency program. The ideal candidate will join a rapidly expanding medical group dedicated to delivering whole-person care.

• AdventHealth Tampa is a 626-bed flagship hospital and tertiary care center located in the city's uptown district within the West Florida Division.
• The Taneja Center for Surgery features 96 new private patient rooms with space to add 36 more, including 24 Intensive Care level beds and 72 PCU level beds.
• The facility includes 18 state-of-the-art operating rooms with space to add six additional ORs, and 72 new pre- and post-op rooms.
• The hospital campus spans over 300,000 additional square feet, building on the existing 1 million square feet.
• The facility is home to the AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute.
