Weatherby is seeking a skilled General Surgeon for a locum tenens opportunity. This role involves a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, including admissions and rounding, with a focus on general, laparoscopic, and GI endoscopy procedures. Responsibilities
- Cover 10 on-call shifts per month with clinic and elective case coverage
- Work 3 eight-hour clinic days per 10-day block
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care, including admissions and rounding
- Perform general surgery for adult, pediatric, and trauma patients
- Conduct laparoscopic surgery, including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty
- Perform GI endoscopy, including upper, lower, and sigmoidoscopy
