Responsibilities
- Responding to emergency department consultations
- Rounding on inpatients
- Performing surgical procedures as clinically indicated
- Managing general surgery and GI cases, including appendectomies, gallbladder conditions, wound care, colon-related issues, and GI bleeds
- Performing procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, and laparoscopic surgeries
Shift & Schedule
- Dates needed: 2027 coverage, exact dates TBD
- Shift type: 24-Hour Call
- 24-hour weekend general surgery call coverage on shifts structured from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
Qualifications
- Board certification in General Surgery is required
