About the Opportunity

The General Superintendent will serve as the senior field leader responsible for day-to-day execution, crew performance, and jobsite excellence.

This role is designed for a hands-on, respected builder who knows how to lead from the front—someone who can command a jobsite, develop people, and drive results without compromising safety or quality.

You will be the connective tissue between project teams, superintendents, and executive leadership—ensuring work is done right, on time, and to standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and mentor superintendents, foremen, and field crews
• Set the standard for jobsite culture, safety, and professionalism
• Oversee scheduling, manpower planning, and crew deployment
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and resources across projects
• Drive production, quality, and schedule performance
• Ensure consistent execution of company processes and standards
• Conduct regular job site visits and performance reviews
• Solve field-level challenges quickly and effectively
• Support PMs and leadership in project planning and execution
• Develop future superintendents and field leaders

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 7-10+ years in heavy civil field leadership (Superintendent, General Superintendent, or similar)
• Proven success running complex civil projects and multiple crews
• Background in utilities, earthwork, infrastructure, or transportation preferred
• Experience working in growing or fast-paced environments

Certifications

• OSHA 30 (required)
• Additional safety or leadership certifications a plus
