My client, a well-established civil and utilities contractor in Georgia, is actively seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead field operations and drive successful project delivery across multiple sites.
About the Role
They are looking for a strong field leader who can oversee crews, manage subcontractors, coordinate with project teams, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. This is a key leadership role with significant influence over project execution and team performance.
- Oversee day-to-day field operations across civil and utility projects
- Lead, mentor, and manage field staff and subcontractors
- Maintain project schedules, productivity, and quality control
- Ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and compliance standards
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients
- Support planning, sequencing, and resource management
- Troubleshoot field issues and proactively mitigate risks
- 8+ years of experience in civil construction or utilities (water, sewer, storm, sitework, etc.)
- Proven leadership in a Superintendent or General Superintendent role
- Strong understanding of heavy civil equipment, site logistics, and utility installation
- Excellent communication and team-building skills
- Commitment to safety and quality
Based in Georgia, with travel to various project sites as needed.
