Responsibilities:
- Directly manage trade contractors and sub-contractors to keep work on schedule and up to quality standards
- Oversee the general conditions budget and jobsite logistics
- Serve as the primary safety representative, driving a strong safety culture across all trades
- Build and maintain the project schedule, including contingency planning
- Lead daily huddles, pre-task planning, and regular contractor meetings
- Maintain daily reports and documentation
- Train and mentor Field Engineers and junior Superintendents
- Support preconstruction planning, scope development, and buyout
- Build strong relationships with owners, unions, trade partners, and the local community
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience)
- 5–15 years leading superintendent roles on $10M–$100M commercial/industrial projects
- OSHA 30-hour and STS-C certified
- First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed trained
- Strong knowledge of all construction divisions, scheduling, and cost control
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard construction software
- Proven experience supervising a project team and enforcing site safety plans
