Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive General Superintendent to oversee the field team in leading commercial, healthcare & light industrial construction in Georgia. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and driving projects to successful completion on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing renovations and ground up commercial construction projects up to $20M+ and enjoys working closely with trade partners, clients, and project managers to deliver excellent results.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities for projects
- Ensure work is performed safely, meets quality standards, and complies with project specifications and local building codes.
- Manage project schedules, sequencing of work, and daily activities to ensure milestones are met.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and proactively identify potential issues or risks.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, site logs, and project documentation.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in a superintendent or field supervisory role, preferably with projects $1M-$20M+
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, building codes, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with project management software, digital plans, and reporting tools preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
