General Sanitation - 2nd Shift

Description
Job Duties:

• Employee will work within a small sanitation team. Team members all follow a daily sanitation
• schedule that encompasses but is not limited to the following.
• Laundry - Operation of commercial washing machines and dryer to clean employee frocks. Responsible for folding frocks.
• Trash Removal - Responsible for emptying trash receptacles, loading dumpers and dumping the
• dumpers into trash compactors. Employee will also operate the compactor.
• Office and Common Area Cleaning - Responsible for sweeping, mopping and miscellaneous tasks
• specific to each area.
• Chemical Handling - Responsible for properly handling chemicals and filling chemical stations. Attention
• to detail and safety precautions is a significant job requirement.
• Rest Rooms - Responsible for maintaining all rest rooms.
• Cardboard Recycling - Responsible for stacking cardboard and operating an industrial baler machine.
• Must perform other related duties and assignments as required by Supervisor and or Crew Leader

Physical Requirements:
• Capability to walking throughout the facility for 80% of the shift (8+ hours per day)
• Capability to lift up to 60 lbs. on a frequent basis
• Requires the frequent use of both hands and arms
• Requires the ability to lift overhead using both arms
• Capability to stand, bend, twist, and squat as needed throughout the shift (8+ hours per day)
Basic Job Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be United States Citizen or authorized to work in the United States
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
• Must be able to read and comprehend English
• Must be able to read, write and have basic mathematic skills
Minimum Requirements
Desired Job Requirements:

• Pallet Jack experience is a plus.
