General Radiologist

Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF) is seeking an onsite, fellowship-trained General Radiologist to join their growing practice in Sarasota, FL. • Practice supports a rapidly expanding healthcare system anchored by Sarasota Memorial Hospital, one of the largest public teaching hospitals in Florida and a regional referral center.
• Network includes Sarasota Memorial Hospital (897 beds), Sarasota Memorial Hospital - Venice, and Sarasota Memorial Hospital - North Port Campus (opening Fall 2028).
• Intercoastal Medical Group Imaging offers a wide range of imaging services, including nuclear medicine and PET/CT.
• Radiology department provides both inpatient and outpatient imaging services, including MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, X-rays, two nuclear medicine suites, stress testing, and a bi-plane interventional radiology suite.
• Team-based practice environment with collaboration among subspecialists.
• Teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa and staff the Florida State University College of Medicine, hosting medical students and residents.

Responsibilities

• Practice a diverse mix of general imaging and fluoroscopy.
• Expert interpretation of diagnostic imaging.
• Clinical consultations.

Compensation

• Highly competitive compensation package.
• Salary range for this position is $500,000-$1,000,000.
• Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time (30+ hrs/week).
• Monday-Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm EST, swing shift.
• Low volume-averaging only 12 weekend days per year (8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.).

Requirements

• Fellowship-trained.
• Fellows and residents welcome to apply.
• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology.
• BE or BC by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
• Completed one year of post-residency fellowship training in any subspecialty would be preferred, but not required.
• Medical license or the ability to obtain a license in the state of FL.
