General Radiologist

Saline Valley Diagnostic Radiology (SVDR) is seeking a Full-Time Remote General Diagnostic Radiologist to join their growing team supporting the Southern Illinois Community. This position follows a 7on|7off block day schedule with no call and offers the opportunity for immediate partnership upon start. The ideal candidate will be capable of reading a broad spectrum of diagnostic imaging in a collaborative environment with local referring physicians.

Practice Info

• SVDR operates with an internal 24/7 Results Communication Center support team (CORE = Center of Radiology Excellence) to coordinate care and clinical contact
• SVDR serves the Southern Illinois Community providing diagnostic services to 14 Illinois hospitals, as well as many affiliated clinics and express care centers

Responsibilities

• Read 100% general diagnostic imaging modalities
• Handle 65 RVU's/Shift

Compensation

• The salary range for this position is $500,000-$525,000

Requirements

• Fellowship experience in Emergency Radiology, Body Imaging, Neuroradiology or Musculoskeletal Radiology is a plus, but not required
• Experience in ER is preferred
• Must be capable of reading a broad spectrum of diagnostic imaging and maintain a desire to work in a collaborative environment with local referring physicians
• Must be capable of reading various diagnostic modalities
• NO Mammography or PET CTs/Specialty reading required
• Board certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
• Fellowship training in any subspecialty is preferred, but not required
• Ability to obtain an Illinois, Indiana & Missouri license is required
