Project ManagerWork with Progression and get your application bumped to the front of the lineReston, VA100% On siteMUST:10 years of related experience 5 of which must be in a supervisory roleCertifications One or more of the following is desired:PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP)PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)PMI Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)Projects in Controlled Environments - PRINCE2 PractitionerScrum Alliance Certified Scrum Professional - ScrumMaster (CSP-SM)Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)Work will be performed primarily at Client offices in Ashburn, VADuties:Observe and assess the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) methodologies and provide recommendations for improvement, both in processes and the use of new toolsOrganize, direct, and manage all aspects of contract operational support functions involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks that often require managing teams of contractor personnel at multiple locationsDevelop Project Management Plan deliverable for projectPerform the Scrum Master role or like duty if requested, to include but not limited to standardized Release Planning, Scrum and reporting processes. Provide daily updates to agile stories and report progress in Kanban chartsPlan, participate and facilitate Design ReviewsProvide management information on key O&M statistics, to include SLA metrics, as applicable, as well as customer feedbackDiscuss work progress, exchange information and resolve emergent technical problems and issuesProvide overall direction of project activitiesManage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer's organizationConsult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverablesEnsure conformance with program and project task schedules and cost and contractual obligationsEstablish and maintain technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customersOrganize and assign responsibilities to subordinatesOversee the successful completion of all assigned tasksManage/supervise subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their dutiesEnsures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgetsMaintain full authority for personnel actionsPlan, direct, control, measure, and monitor all employee activitiesEnsure processes are in place for supervision of and interfacing with the GovernmentServe as the point of contact for the COR and as the primary interface between the Government and the ContractorsMaintain extensive knowledge of department processesProvide centralized administration of all work performed under the contractResponsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s)Ensure technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely mannerCoordinate with Government personnel in the assignment and prioritization of requested workProvide individual Program Office Directorate level status reportsCreate and submit Weekly & Monthly Status ReportAssure all other deliverables are submitted as requiredMaintain a process to control physical access to CBP IT assetsComply with the Privacy Act, CBP, and Client privacy policies and procedures when handling PIIProgression Inc.
