Seeking an experienced General Practitioner with strong surgical skills. This is an excellent opportunity for a General Practitioner who enjoys a mix of general medicine, preventative care, diagnostics, and surgery. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing routine soft tissue surgeries independently and possess the confidence to manage a diverse caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care for canine and feline patients.
- Perform wellness examinations, preventative care, and vaccinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Perform routine and advanced soft tissue surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, mass removals, cystotomies, hernia repairs, and other general surgeries.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging, laboratory results, and treatment plans.
- Develop and communicate treatment recommendations to pet owners.
- Collaborate effectively with veterinary technicians and support staff.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care and client service.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience in small animal practice.
- Proficiency in general medicine and surgery.
- Ability to perform routine soft tissue surgeries independently.
- Strong diagnostic, communication, and client education skills.
