General Pediatrician

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible General Pediatrician to join our established pediatric practice in Orange City, Florida. The incoming physician will work alongside existing physicians and advanced practice providers to expand timely access to high-quality pediatric primary care and improve new-patient wait times. This employment opportunity with a 700+ physician, multi-specialty organization allows physicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside existing physicians and advanced practice providers to expand timely access to high-quality pediatric primary care, improve new-patient wait times, and support appointment availability
• Support practice growth by improving appointment availability, new-patient wait times, and overall access to pediatric care

Shift & Schedule

• Shared practice call coverage up to one time per week
• Set schedule, which may include early morning and/or evening hours to meet patient needs

Qualifications

• Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
• Board Certification in Pediatrics (or Board Eligibility if less than 3 years out of training)
• Experience with supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN and/or PA-C)
• Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to: circumcisions, vaccinations per AAP guidelines, CLIA waived labs
