The Department of Pediatrics at the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York is seeking board eligible/board certified General Pediatricians to practice in the Fast Track area of their Emergency Department. This role involves providing thoughtful and timely patient care to a growing pediatric community. The center is the largest pediatric teaching hospital in the region, serving 1.8 million children annually.

- Practice in the Fast Track area of the Emergency Department at CCMC.
- The PEM team consists of 33 attendings, 9 fellows, and 6 advance care providers.
- The department layout includes 33 individual patient exam rooms and 2 critical care/trauma bays.
- The facility is the busiest American College of Surgeons Pediatric Level 1 Trauma Center in NY state, with approximately 70,000 visits a year.
- There is a dedicated behavioral health area and a behavioral health urgicenter.
- The nursing staff has received Magnet designation and the Lantern award from the Emergency Nurse’s Association.
