Job Summary

Geisinger Multi‑Specialty Clinic in Lock Haven is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Physician in General Pediatrics. The position is outpatient only with limited evening and weekend phone coverage.

• Provide health maintenance and acute care for patients newborn to 18 years of age
• Assess and establish a diagnosis and implement treatment plans for patients
• Make accurate and complete entries into the electronic medical record; order and interpret diagnostic testing; consult as appropriate; prescribe medical therapy using evidence‑based practice
• Work a 20‑hour week: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with occasional Saturday clinic coverage (8am–12pm every 1‑4–8 weekends, dependent on provider complement)
• Participate in medical student education and adjunct faculty opportunities at Geisinger School of Medicine

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) – required
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Pediatrics – required
• Licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Pennsylvania
• Experience in patient care and procedural skills, professional etiquette, and systems‑based practice
