Qualifications
- High school diploma required, associate's degree preferred
- Experience working with adolescent aged children preferred
- Discrete with communication and maintains confidentiality
- Capable of following directives of professional staff
- Dependable, punctual, and positive work history
- Ability to utilize technology and Google applications
Responsibilities & Duties
- Support building needs such as recess and lunch supervision
- Provide academic and behavioral support to students through one-on-one and small group instruction, behavior interventions, sensory breaks, and other individualized supports as needed
- Assist teachers in all other areas as directed
- Support building routines as outlined by the Building Principal
- Perform all other duties as assigned by administrator
- Attendance is an essential function for this position
Terms of Employment: Student days, 27.50 hours/week. SEIU Aide position, Aides Collective Bargaining Agreement Subject to passing post offer background checks
