General Otolaryngologist

Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Otolaryngologist to join their robust Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery program in San Francisco and Larkspur, CA. This opportunity allows providers to work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive care in a collegial "privademic" environment. Physicians will enjoy a broad-based practice combining outpatient clinical care and surgical responsibilities with opportunities for leadership, research, and professional growth.

Practice Info

• Located in San Francisco, CA with a satellite clinic in Larkspur, CA
• Work alongside an experienced group of eight surgeons of various subspecialists within Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, six advanced practice clinicians (APCs), five speech-language pathologists, two audiologists, and a highly capable support staff
• A "privademic" practice model combining physician-led clinical practice with teaching, research opportunities, academic engagement, and leadership and growth opportunities
• Fully integrated Epic EMR across both clinic and hospital settings
• Affiliation with Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation (SPMF) providing an administrative infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Broad-based General Otolaryngology practice with a combination of outpatient clinical care and surgical responsibilities
• Evaluate and treat a wide range of adult ear, nose, throat, head, and neck conditions
• Opportunity to develop a diverse medical and surgical Otolaryngology practice
• Collaborate closely with advance practice clinicians, subspecialists in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, audiologists, speech and swallow therapists, primary care physicians, medical and surgical specialists, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team
• Opportunity to help strengthen and grow Otolaryngology services within an integrated healthcare system
• Participate in quality improvement, program development, and clinical innovation initiatives
• Teach, mentor, and collaborate with trainees and colleagues across specialties
• Participate in research and scholarly activity, if desired

Compensation

• $408,900 - $549,624 /Yr

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery
• Completion of an accredited Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery residency program
• Eligible for unrestricted California medical licensure
• DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate (CSRC)
• Additional certifications as required by the department
