Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is seeking two BC/BE General Neurosurgeons to join its expanding hospital-employed practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary trauma program, supported by a dedicated Neuroscience Center and state-of-the-art equipment. The role offers a chance to contribute to a regional tertiary care and ACS-Verified Level II Trauma Center serving over 500,000 people.
Practice Info
- Hospital-employed practice consisting of three surgeons and five physician assistants
- Multidisciplinary trauma program supported by highly skilled staff
- Dedicated Neuroscience Center with a focus on Stroke and Complex Spine Care
- Upgraded facilities, operating rooms, and equipment, including a state-of-the-art 3D C-Arm and image-guided navigation systems
- Support services include in-house hospitalists, a dedicated stroke team, neurology, rehabilitation services, diagnostic neuroradiology, a fully staffed ICU, PICU, and NICU, all supported by dedicated intensivists
- Regional Tertiary Care and ACS-Verified Level II Trauma Center
Compensation
- $800,000 to $920,000 annual base salary, with the opportunity to earn additional compensation based on productivity
- The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position
- The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
