Job Summary
This is a full‑time Advanced Practice Professional (PA/NP) position in the Neurology Department at Atrium Health Neurology Shelby.
Pay Range: $47.50 – $71.25 per hour. Benefits eligible: Yes.
Schedule and Working Hours
• 40 hours per week
• Monday–Friday schedule with a flexible option for a 4‑day work week
• No call, no holidays, no weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient neurology care, seeing 12–16 patients per day including consults, follow‑ups, hospital follow‑ups, and procedures such as Botox for migraine.
- Participate in the education of learners – other APPs, students/APP fellows, nurses, and new clinical teammates.
- Collaborate with operational leaders and the stroke program coordinator to support transition‑of‑care initiatives.
- Work autonomously with support from onsite APPs and rotating subspecialists.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of APP experience; neurology experience strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge with an academic inclination.
- Passion for innovation, education, and collaboration.
