Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE General Neurologist to join an established outpatient practice in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive neurological services within a supportive team environment, with subspecialty expertise being valuable but not mandatory. - Established outpatient practice within the Department of Neurology in Marshfield, Wisconsin
- Practice encompasses a comprehensive range of outpatient services, covering General Neurology, epilepsy, headaches, sleep, CP, and Neuromuscular conditions
- Supportive team of colleagues and superior staff
- Supported by an outstanding radiology department, Neurosurgery services, and a Neurohospitalist team
- Serves a substantial referral base in Central and Western Wisconsin
- Trauma level II facility and thrombectomy capable stroke center
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit (if applicable to the setting)
- Provide consultative services
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide nonsurgical care to patients of all ages presenting with illnesses, injuries, and disorders of the neurologic system
- Interpret EEG
- Option to perform Botox treatments for headaches (not required)
- Option to perform EMGs (not required)
Compensation
- Compensation floor of $420,000 for the first two years of the employment contract
- Estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs
- $150,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 4 years

Shift & Schedule
- Option of a 4 or 5-day work week
- Call is 1:4 weeks and is Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm for outpatient Neurology only
Requirements
- BC/BE General Neurologist
- Proficiency in EEG interpretation is required
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a Neurology residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at time of application, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
