Practice Info

• Collaborates as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Requires travel throughout and between facilities
• Involves the handling of hazardous drugs and/or hazardous drug contaminated products

Responsibilities

• Examine the health of patients to help make proper diagnoses of clinical conditions and prescribe medications, treatments, and follow-up care as required
• Provide care directly and indirectly by working with other members of an interdisciplinary team to formulate treatment plans
• Timely record patient encounters in the Electronic Health Record
• Request further medical evaluations and make referrals as necessary
• Understand and commit to the highest standards of professionalism, including a willingness to hold others to those standards
• Ensure accurate coding of all patient visits
• Comply with policies, procedures, bylaws, processes of privileging/credentialing, and applicable accreditation, state, and federal standards of care

Qualifications

• Required: Board certified or eligible for certification in physician’s primary specialty
• Required: Licensed Practicing Provider MD/DO
• Required: Credentialed and willing to maintain clinical practice
• Required: Ability to meet physical demands including Light Work (exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds frequently, and/or a negligible amount constantly)
• Individuals who reside in and will work from Colorado, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington D.C. are not eligible for remote work positions
