City of Hope Medical Group is seeking a full-time General Neurologist to join their clinical faculty as an Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient-centered care and manage neurologic complications of cancer within a rapidly expanding, nationally recognized cancer institute. Practice Info
- Coverage at only one location: hospital is located on campus
- State-of-the-art facilities: 73 bed hospital, 4 operating room suites, 8 bed ICU
- Ability to participate in clinical research within an academic setting
- City of Hope Orange County campus includes Lennar Foundation Cancer Center and a specialty cancer hospital
Responsibilities
- Clinical time is divided between inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- Manage patients' neurologic complications of cancer and cancer therapy
Compensation
- Base Salary Range: Assistant level: $215K-$230K
- Base Salary Range: Associate level: $230K-$246K
- Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors
Shift & Schedule
- Full-time clinical faculty member
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited educational institution
- Experience with hematological/oncologic patients and/or EEG and/or EMG/NCS, preferred, not required
- Advanced fellowship training and/or experience in Neuro-immunology or epilepsy, preferred, not required
- ABPN Board certified/eligible in Neurology
- Possession of/eligible for unrestricted CA medical license
