General Neurologist

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Neurologist to join its well-established and growing Neurology program. This employed position offers a primarily outpatient practice focusing on comprehensive neurological care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The role provides access to advanced diagnostic resources and strong referral relationships, with opportunities to build a robust general neurology practice while pursuing clinical interests.

• Support of experienced Neurologists and Advanced Practice Providers
• Dedicated clinical support staff and access to advanced diagnostic testing
• Strong referral base and established primary care partnerships

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurological care
• Evaluate and treat a wide range of neurological conditions, including Headaches and migraines, Epilepsy and seizure disorders, Neuromuscular disorders, Parkinson's disease and movement disorders, Multiple sclerosis, Memory and cognitive disorders, Peripheral neuropathy, Cerebrovascular disease and stroke follow-up care
• Collaborate with hospital-based teams to ensure continuity of care for stroke patients
• Participate in the evaluation, management, and secondary prevention of stroke and cerebrovascular conditions

Compensation

• Annual Salary: $290k-$360k

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Preferred: Candidates with experience in stroke care and cerebrovascular disease management
