Altoona Regional Health Services (ARHS) is seeking a BE/BC General Neurologist to join Blair Medical Neurology. In this outpatient role, you will care for an underserved population with a robust patient catchment area and a full panel of patients. The position offers a regular schedule with some flexibility and close collaboration with neuro-intervention and stroke teams.
Practice Info
- Caseloads will include neuromuscular disorders (approximately 30%), Alzheimer’s, dementia, and migraines
- Outpatient only with some practice call
- All inpatient work is done by our Neurohospitalist team
- UPMC Altoona hospital is an accredited Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center
- Clinic is located 1.5 miles from UPMC Altoona, with Sleep Lab, EEG and EMG labs on-site
- Close collaboration with our Neuro-intervention and Stroke teams
- Coming into an established practice with a full panel of patients

- Earning potential of $500K

Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology (Required)
- Eligibility for PA licensure (Required)
- A commitment to patient-centered care and excellent interpersonal skills are essential
- Experience and interest in performing electromyography (EMG) (Preferred)
