Responsibilities
- Managing and leading a team of kitchen staff and front‑of‑house staff
- Supervising and training the team to uphold high standards of food quality and customer service
- Actively monitoring inventory levels and ordering activity
- Proactively maintaining equipment in the store
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including participation in audits and inspections
- Ensuring you and your team are compliant with employee labor laws
- Handling and resolving customer concerns
- Managing cash at stores (e.g., bank deposits)
- Delivering conversations, warnings, and terminations with sufficient evidence and documentation when necessary
- Building efficient schedules based on the needs of the business
- Ensuring new hires/transfers are onboarded properly to the store
- Organizing community engagement events
- Managing the store’s controllable profit areas: sales, labor, and COGS
Skills
- Previous experience working in a fast‑paced environment
- One (1) year of previous restaurant experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a team (1 year preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- Food handler certification, strongly preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is a PLUS
Requirements
- U.S. work authorization (required)
- High school or equivalent (GED)
- Culinary education or mentorship (preferred)
- Flexibility and an open schedule to allow you to cover shifts as needed
- Reliable transportation to get you to work
- Ability to work an 8‑hour shift, which may include weekends
Compensation
- Salary of $70,000 - $75,000 per year (depending on your experience)
