ABOUT THE JOB
You were born to be the boss. You wake up in the morning and ensure everyone in the house is doing what they need to do. At Domino's Pizza you will do the same in the workplace – ensuring the team, your manager, and customers all receive the highest level of service. You will develop skills in judgment, math, multitasking, and leadership to manage a busy store.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES
You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including all cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. You must set the example and follow ALL policy and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew.

General Job Duties For All Store Team Members
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Training
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication Skills
- Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions/Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
- Make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigation skills: read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area, navigate adverse terrain.
Work Conditions
Exposure to
- Varying weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures between 36°F and 90°F+.
- Sudden changes in temperature inside/outside.
- Fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.
- Sharp edges, moving mechanical parts.
Sensing
- Speaking, hearing on telephone; near and mid‑range vision for in‑store tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
Temperaments
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, interact with people, analyze and compile data, make decisions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing
Most tasks performed standing; walking surfaces include ceramic tile or linoleum; work surfaces between 36” and 48”.
Walking
Delivery personnel travel between store, vehicle, and customer locations.
Paperwork normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
Lifting
Bulk product deliveries two or more times a week, unloaded by hand truck. Cases up to 50 pounds.
Cases may be lifted from floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72” high.
Carrying
Large cans, approximately 3 pounds 7 ounces; pizza sauce up to 30 pounds; dough trays up to 12 pounds.
During delivery carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing.
Pushing
Move trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 pounds to push; trays also may be pulled.
Climbing
Navigate stairs or ladders to change signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.
Stooping/Bending
Forward bending at waist necessary at assembly station; repeated continuously.
Crouching/Squatting
Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
Reaching
Reaching up, down, front; up to 72” to operate oven controls; down to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes; front to obtain toppings, clean, or answer phones.
Driving
Deliver pizzas within a designated area; multiple deliveries per shift; deliver flyers and door hangers.
Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids
Team members may use pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and peel.
Qualifications
Requires
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle usable for delivery.
