Restaurant ManagerGrecian Gyro, Atlanta's oldest Greek quick service restaurant, is looking for a customer-focused leader to join our fast-growing team. We are looking for leaders who take ownership, have a super-friendly personality, and above all, a passion for delivering an awesome customer experience.*Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, project lead, supervisor, team lead, assistant or general manager in a restaurant is required.What you'll be doing:Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant location, including ordering, hiring, training, and customer service managementLead the restaurant team with a customer focus, conduct regular meetings, maintain a positive environmentEnsure the restaurant operates profitably meeting set margins for costs of goods soldBeing an ambassador for our service, our menu, our story, and our cultureMaintaining proper hygiene and upholding an appearance that projects a positive company image at all timesDescribing our food with passion and educating our guests on our menu, its ingredients and allergy/dietary alerts for both restaurant and catering ordersEmbodying our "cafe management" work style by performing store positions when not focused on administrative responsibilitiesDeveloping hourly employees, shift leaders, and AGMs for growth, leading an environment that fosters motivation, training and evaluationsScheduling hourly employees based on weekly forecasted sales training AGM's to do the sameAccurately documenting all employee related paperworkPrioritizing tasks, setting goals and properly scheduling your time ensuring to balance admin leadership with hands-on shift involvementSupervising and mentoring crew members on each shift, always looking for training momentsManaging the quality of your store by meeting Grecian Gyro standards for food procedure, service and cleanlinessEffectively managing operational and admin duties, understanding how their accurate and timely completion creates your store's successMonitoring cash receipts, controls and daily deposits for financial accuracyProactively managing building upkeep, general maintenance, equipment maintenance and maintenance ticketsMaintaining a positive, clean, safe atmosphere and environment for both your guests and your coworkers in compliance with Health Department regulationsLeading the team to comply with all company policies and procedures as well as all local, state and federal regulationsDemonstrating a professional attitude and respect for your coworkers, establishment, and the Grecian Gyro brandWhat we provide you:Salary/Compensation range $45,000 - $55,000+Quarterly bonus potentialVacation/PTO after 100 daysMedical/Dental/Vision after 60 daysEmployer insurance contribution $250/monthEducational AssistanceFlexible schedulesFree foodQuality of LifeOff for major holidaysOpportunities for advancementTotal Compensation/Benefits Value: $55K-$62KOperating the grill and fryers during high volume hoursGrilling meat, vegetables, and pita breadPerfectly slicing gyro meatCommunicating with the line throughout serviceLeads kitchen team in food preparation (vegetable and meat cutting)This is a full-time position, with both day and evening shifts.What we're looking for:At least 1 year of previous management experience (restaurant management experience preferred)Self-directed and driven leader who demonstrates respect, honesty, and integrityGo-getter who continuously improves, communicates clearly, and motivates others with enthusiasm, positivity, and energyReliable, available, and willing to adapt work schedule to meet the demands of the businessHas high emotional intelligence and self-awarenessPossesses a willingness and desire to serve and learn- has a growth mindsetAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentMust have or obtain a ServSafe CertificationMust have sufficient experience and knowledge of Profit and Loss statementsComputer literacy and ability to utilize technology efficiently and effectivelyAbility to recruit, train, retain, and motivate quality employeesStrong time management and organization skillsDemonstrate sound decision making and problem-solving skillsStrong work ethic, and desire to exceed our guests' expectations
