About the Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead daily operations for Manchu Wok

This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic restaurant leader who enjoys developing teams, delivering great guest experiences, and taking ownership of day-to-day restaurant performance.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working alongside their team while maintaining strong standards around service, food quality, cleanliness, staffing, inventory, and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Hire, onboard, train, and develop team members

• Coach employees and provide ongoing performance feedback

• Build a positive, accountable, and dependable team culture

• Create and manage employee schedules

• Maintain appropriate staffing levels based on business needs

• Lead by example and remain actively involved in daily operations

Restaurant Operations

• Oversee daily restaurant operations

• Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed properly

• Maintain strong food quality and service standards

• Monitor speed of service and overall restaurant execution

• Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the operation

• Identify and resolve operational issues as they arise

Inventory & Cost Controls

• Manage inventory and product availability

• Oversee ordering and product levels

• Help minimize waste and maintain appropriate inventory controls

• Support restaurant sales and performance goals

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency

Guest Experience

• Ensure guests receive fast, friendly, and professional service

• Maintain high customer service standards

• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally

• Coach team members on hospitality and service expectations

• Create an environment that encourages repeat business

Food Safety & Standards

• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards

• Ensure proper food preparation and handling procedures

• Maintain a clean and safe restaurant environment

• Ensure team members consistently follow operating procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant, food service, QSR, fast-casual, or retail leadership experience preferred

• General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or comparable leadership experience

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Experience hiring, training, and developing employees

• Inventory management and ordering experience

• Ability to coach and motivate a team

• Organized and dependable with strong multitasking skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to be hands-on and work alongside the team

• Availability for mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Compensation & Benefits

$22.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on experience.
