Overview
The General Manager (GM) leads the operation of the Taco John\'s Chanute, KS restaurant. As a GM, you\'ll have responsibility for the financial success of your restaurant, as well as managing staff, keeping customers happy, and adhering to health and safety mandates. The role has a strong hospitality element, ensuring that the restaurant delivers high-quality food, drink, and good customer service.
Starting annual pay for a highly qualified QSR General Manager/Restaurant Manager is $48,000/year plus a monthly bonus based on performance.
Location: 1503 South Santa Fe Avenue, Chanute, KS
Responsibilities
- Daily operations of restaurant
- Hiring and training a great team
- Managing all areas in front and back of house
- Ensuring food quality
- Managing food and labor cost budgets
- Ensuring your team provides great Customer Service
- Maintaining exceptional cleanliness of the restaurant, inside and out

Education / Experience
- Requirements High School diploma or GED.
- QSR experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance and build a great team.
- Must be reliable and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
Additional Requirements
- Must have open availability
- Must be willing to work a minimum of 45 hours per week
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be willing to relocate
- Must be ServSafe certified (or able to obtain certification)
- Minimum 2 years prior General Manager experience in QSR required
- Strong leadership, accountability, and operational execution required
- Ability to lead teams, manage performance, and maintain company standards
