Job Summary

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The role involves setting restaurant goals, developing plans to achieve them, hiring and developing staff, and leading a team of Department Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Run a profitable restaurant and ensure it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Collaborate with leadership to set restaurant goals and develop actionable plans.
• Lead a team of Department Managers; help them set departmental goals, monitor progress, and provide coaching.
• Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong, effective team.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations.
• Background in quick‑service restaurants strongly desired; hospitality or retail experience is acceptable.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
