General Manager - San Jose Sharks PropertiesRequisition #: Location: San Jose, CA, US, 95113 Career Area: General ManagementJob Description Relocation Assistance Available - Step Into a Premier Leadership Role in Sports + EntertainmentAramark Sports & Entertainment is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead food & beverage, retail, and e-commerce operations supporting the San Jose Sharks across SAP Center, Tech CU Arena, and the organization's three community ice centers. As General Manager, you will plan, manage, and lead multiple contracted services generating multi-million dollar revenue, ensuring alignment with operating and financial goals, client expectations, and guest needs. Scope of services includes food and beverage operations, which may encompass concessions, catering, and premium dining offerings. You will play a key role in executing major sporting events, concerts, catering functions, and other large-scale venue events. This position reports to Senior Leadership and leads a team of salaried direct reports. It is a salaried role with bonus eligibility, contingent on the achievement of defined financial and performance objectives.Compensation: The salaried rate for this position is $135,000.00 to $175,000.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. Benefits vary by location and are subject to any legal requirements or limitations, employee eligibility status, and where the employee lives and/or works.Job ResponsibilitiesFull P&L responsibility in regard to food and beverageManage the client relationship at the location, while providing hands on execution and leadership of operations.Leadership of a large team of managers and workforce throughout multiple units and concepts.Developing new concepts to increase existing revenue sources for public foods/concessions, premium service and catering outlets.Partner with the District Manager and region Vice President of Operations to plan and execute business development strategy for growth.Recruitment and development of new and existing managers.Interact successfully with the client, stadium guests and team members on a regular basis.Ability to respond effectively to changing demands.P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable.Candidate must be willing to be hands-on with staff and operations and be willing to work flexible hours that include evenings, weekends and holidaysQualificationsMinimum of 5+ years of large venue or multi-unit management experience is required.Premium and Concessions Management experience preferred.Direct P&L responsibility within a comparably scoped environmentAbility to lead a large team of culinary & operations managers in a high volume, fast-paced environment.The ability to lead in a complex environment with a keen focus on client and guest service, entrepreneurship, while building and growing a strong business is essential to success in this role.A passion for food & beverage with an ability to identify and develop successful concepts.Ability to communicate effectively with clients and senior management.This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).About AramarkOur Mission Rooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.
