Job Overview

We are looking for a General Manager for our boutique resort located in St. Augustin, Florida.

The General Manager of the property has many roles and responsibilities, but also has a excellent opportunity to learn and advance your career in Hospitality. This position is excellent for someone who has great hands on leadership skills, a background in Hospitality, with management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient management of all departments.
• Supervise staff, providing training and guidance to ensure exceptional service and adherence to company standards.
• Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste and optimize resources.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that enhance productivity and customer experience.
• Coordinate banquet services and special events, ensuring seamless execution from planning through delivery.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth among staff members.
• Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a managerial role within hospitality.
• Culinary knowledge with an understanding of food management principles.
• Experience in supervising teams and managing diverse staff members effectively.
• Familiarity with inventory control practices and cost management strategies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with customers and staff alike.
• Proficient in hospitality systems and computer operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in hospitality technology, including system configuration, troubleshooting, and operational integration.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
