Hynes Memorial Veterans Convention & Exhibition Center, you are responsible for maintaining a balance between floor supervision, administration, team member training and mentoring, and hosting/communicating with groups. Strive to exceed guest expectations while executing "The Levy Difference".OperationsExecutes all menu requirements and fulfills all guest-specific service requestsEnsures all function setups and breakdowns are executed correctly, efficiently and expeditiouslyHolds team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest serviceEnsure team members have the tools necessary to complete their jobsEnsures show quality standards are maintained at all timesBuilds and maintains strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, not-for-profits and Levy Restaurants team membersRegularly obtains feedback from clients and guests to improve operationsSupport and communicates Company initiativesRespond and assist in any departmental guest service issuesActs as a liaison with team, including partner's operational team, Levy Restaurants team and other areas as needed to ensure efficient operational performanceEnsures proper execution of preventive maintenance schedule as set forth by Director of OperationsControlsEmploys good safety and sanitation practicesPractices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipmentAchieves daily sales and assigned cost goalsAchieves assigned budget goalsProvides operational planning to ensure adequate products and equipment are ordered for anticipated business levelsPractices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipmentFollows and enforces responsible alcohol service policiesExecutes required daily reporting in a timely mannerEnsures required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month end closingEnsures team members adhere to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbookForecasts and adequately schedules team members to meet operational needs and desired targetsEnsures consumption reports are accurate and timely for each eventEnsures that all security, safety and sanitation standards are achievedTeamUses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to teamPromotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and moraleConducts regular scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team membersInterviews, hires, trains and develops team members according to Levy Restaurants guidelinesDisplays a positive attitude towards team membersMentors department managers to develop their skills and leadership abilitiesJob Requirements5+ leadership experience in Hospitality or RetailBachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management is preferredHigh level of computer literacyUnderstanding of financial conceptsPassion for hospitality, food, and retailExcellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skillsCurious about Life at Levy?
