Job Summary
The General Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for one of the Company's premier New York accounts. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations while delivering an exceptional client and guest experience. Success in this position requires outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑profile environment, and a proven track record of leading high‑performing teams. The General Manager fosters strong client partnerships, drives operational excellence, ensures superior food quality, and delivers best‑in‑class hospitality and customer service that reflects the standards of a flagship account.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the corporate dining account
- Manage overall day‑to‑day operations of the account
- Conduct HR functions including hiring, progressive counseling, and terminations
- Oversee scheduling, payroll and team training
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers, guests, and clients as well as other departments
- Work with the Chef and management team in creating menus and providing top‑quality food
- Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team
Preferred Qualifications
- BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred
- Minimum of five years of progressive foodservice management experience in a high‑volume, hospitality‑driven environment
- Demonstrated success overseeing high‑volume food production and executing large‑scale catering operations
- Proven experience managing operating budgets, controlling costs, and driving financial performance
