Sophia's is a brunch-focused restaurant open daily from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM-no late nights required.

The Opportunity

As the General Manager, you will be the heartbeat of Sophia's. You'll lead daily operations, inspire a strong team culture, uphold brand standards, and ensure an outstanding guest experience every single day. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment and knows how to balance people, performance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all front- and back-of-house operations
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and accountability-driven culture
  • Ensure exceptional guest experience and service standards
  • Manage scheduling, labor control, and payroll efficiently
  • Oversee food quality, cleanliness, safety, and compliance
  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth
  • Inventory and ordering
  • Partner with ownership to execute brand vision and operational goals
  • Handle guest feedback with professionalism and care
  • Lead by example on the floor with the team and guests

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager or Manager
  • Strong background in restaurant operations (fast-casual or full-service preferred)
  • Proven leadership, team-building, and coaching skills
  • High-energy, passionate leader who builds strong teams and creates a positive, motivating culture
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong understanding of P&L, labor management, and cost controls
  • High standards for hospitality, cleanliness, and food quality
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Flexible schedule required, including weekends and peak business days
