The General Manager will be responsible for managing and leading the business operations of TEC Equipment Company.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure safety, quality control, and environmental protection programs are followed throughout all aspects of the business; Manage overall branch operations to ensure productivity, customer service, and profitability.
- Oversee all safety matters, including audits, safety training, OSHA compliance, DOT regulations, and screening according to compliance standards.
- Lead and direct hiring activities in cooperation with Human Resources by diagnosing the needs of the company according to goals and projections and helping to identify the necessary talent; Oversee and enforce appropriate new hire training programs and practices. Manage personnel matters.
- Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives. Prepare reports, including profit and loss statements, monthly operating reviews, yearly budgets, and other reports detailing operational status.
- Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate high level communication skills; Foster and ensure cooperative and collaborative partner relationships; Maintain a positive attitude.
