Overview
As a SONIC Drive‑In restaurant General Manager, you are responsible for leading your team in delivering an exceptional food service experience. You will train and support drive‑in restaurant employees, ensuring that food is delivered in a clean, safe, and efficient manner for an excellent customer experience. General Manager is a full‑time opportunity that offers excellent benefits.
Requirements / Responsibilities
- Manage, train, monitor, and coach crew/team members, carhops, and skating carhops.
- Direct and assign drive‑in restaurant employees as needed to ensure all aspects of food service meet operational standards.
- Adhere to and monitor employee compliance with the drive‑in employee handbook, policies, and practices.
- Perform restaurant opening and/or closing duties.
- Prepare employee work schedules; monitor and adjust restaurant staffing levels appropriately.
- Monitor and maintain restaurant inventory levels; place orders for food, paper, and other supplies within cost control procedures.
- Complete and maintain all drive‑in restaurant employment‑related records and payroll records.
- Reinforce a customer service mentality and ensure all employees focus on serving the customer at all times.
- Immediately and respectfully resolve guest requests. Report guest complaints to the immediate supervisor and assist in resolving such complaints.
- Interview and hire restaurant crew and management team members to achieve proper staffing levels.
- Prepare all necessary operational reports; develop appropriate action plans to resolve unfavorable financial and/or sales trends.
- Develop and implement a marketing plan.
Prior experience as a restaurant general manager, catering manager, operations manager, supervisor, shift lead, or restaurant assistant general manager is very helpful to your success at this job. General Manager is a full‑time opportunity that offers excellent benefits.
