We are seeking a boots-on-the-ground leader to join our senior management team as Director of Distribution Center Operations. The ideal candidate brings proven experience running a food or beverage distribution center and will take full ownership of the company's day-to-day business operations - including budget management, operational compliance, and administrative leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Measure the effectiveness of all processes including budget, operations, and management performance
- Hold complete responsibility for Warehouse and Private Fleet operations in direct support of the sales team
- Partner with the executive team to determine the company's strategic growth direction
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional initiatives and projects across departments
- Manage the company budget and ensure operational compliance standards are maintained
- Address and resolve administrative issues to keep operations running smoothly
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related discipline
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in distribution, logistics, or operations leadership
- Union management experience is highly desired
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead across all levels
- Demonstrated experience in product management
- Proven track record running a food or beverage distribution center preferred
