General Manager

For our client, we are seeking a General Manager to join the team of a leader in the Food & Beverages space. This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross‑functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Food & Beverages environment.

Location: Newark, NJ – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $215,000 — $220,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of airline catering units with accountability for performance and profitability
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers for improved service delivery
• Ensure accurate budget creation and maintenance, aligned with operational goals
• Adapt operations to fit the local business environment and culture effectively
• Lead and mentor management teams to enhance employee skills and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field required
• 15 years of management experience in in-flight catering or food manufacturing environment required
• Proven track record as a General Manager in airline catering required
• Experience managing financials with responsibility for operational budgets required
• Strong customer service and account management experience required
