Position Overview
We are seeking a driven, dynamic, and fitness-focused General Manager to lead the daily operations of our Staten Island studio. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment, is passionate about helping others, and has strong leadership abilities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead Studio Operations: Oversee all aspects of daily studio management, including staffing, member services, scheduling, and facility upkeep.
- Drive Sales Performance: Meet and exceed monthly sales goals for memberships, retail, and private training. Implement creative strategies to grow membership and retention.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, coach, and manage front desk staff and support the instructor team to ensure a high-performing studio environment.
- Customer Engagement: Deliver exceptional service to all members and guests. Maintain high levels of member satisfaction, drive renewals, and manage feedback or concerns effectively.
- Marketing & Outreach: Plan and execute local events, promotions, and partnerships to build community awareness and drive studio traffic.
What Were Looking For
- 2+ years of sales or fitness studio management experience
- Proven track record in driving revenue and achieving KPIs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
- Passion for health, fitness, and the Pilates lifestyle (no Pilates experience necessary, but a bonus!)
- Base Salary: $45,000-$60,000 , depending on experience
- Studio performance bonuses and sales commissions
